Suede

Suede, commonly known as suede, is a highly prized and distinctive type of leather, famous for its incredible softness and velvet-like texture. This material does not derive from chamois leather, as the name might suggest, but is the result of a meticulous and refined manufacturing process.
Initially, the outer surface of the skin is gently removed. What remains is the underlying layer, which is then subjected to tanning, dyeing and finally sanding.
