Il "Cotone Caldo" si ottiene grazie a una tessitura piuttosto compatta del filo di cotone (interlock) su una macchina speciale a doppia foratura. In seguito alcuni cilindri abrasivi creano una smerigliatura, detta anche garzatura, del lato interno del tessuto.
