Initially, the outer surface of the skin is gently removed. What remains is the underlying layer, which is then subjected to tanning, dyeing and finally sanding. This process not only guarantees the durability and resistance of the material but also enhances its appearance, giving it that characteristic soft and matte finish that makes it so appreciated in high fashion and in the production of luxury footwear.

The Blake Rapid process was invented by Lyman Reed Blake in 1858 and immediately achieved great success, especially in Italy where it is still among the most used processes today. Its genius lies in the double "Blake" stitching that joins the upper, the insole, the lining and the midsole, while the "Rapid" puts the midsole and sole together, increasing the shoe's resistance and waterproofness. How to take care of it

To keep your suede shoes looking their best, we recommend following these simple instructions:

Cleaning: Use one toothbrush with brass bristles to remove dust or small stains. If necessary, in case of obvious dirt, wash with the Ciccone shampoo dedicated.

Conservation: Store your shoes in a dry place and away from direct heat sources. The ideal would be to use the shoe tree made of cedar wood to maintain the original shape.

Duration: To increase their durability I recommend that you always alternate the shoes you wear and in case of rain, wait for them to dry completely before putting your wet shoes back on.
