The zip slides, but the bag remains open. Or it always gets stuck in the same place and you end up leaving it ajar. They are similar defects in use, but not necessarily in repair. We check the slider, the teeth and the tape on which they are mounted, distinguishing a zipper failure from a seam that has come apart from the bag.

The evaluation includes the surrounding material: a new zipper alone does not fix a worn edge or a torn lining. We offer you work proportionate to the damage, trying to preserve the parts that are still good. Replacement zip, lining and zip puller: details matter

To replace the zipper of a bag it's not enough to measure how long it is. The type and size of the teeth, the color of the ribbon, the finish of the slider and the way the closure is inserted between the outside and the lining matter. The spare part must be chosen for that construction, not just because it looks like her.

We evaluate the access to the seam and the condition of the edges, especially in leather bags and models with curved openings. If the zip is intact and the problem is limited to the cursor, we check the possibility of replacing the latter.
